Delete your data
How to have us delete your data from DOBI Pay, DOBI Operador and dobi.guru — the apps and website published by DOBI Protocol.
In short. Write to dobi@apumail.com with the subject “Data deletion request”. We answer within 30 days. DOBI Pay has no account to delete: uninstalling the app wipes the wallet and its keys from the phone. What is already written to a public blockchain cannot be deleted by anyone, us included.
1. DOBI Pay — there is no account
DOBI Pay has no sign-up, no sign-in screen, and never receives your name, email or phone number. The wallet is generated on the phone and its recovery phrase never leaves it.
- To erase everything held on the device (wallet, keys, local history): uninstall the app. Back up your recovery phrase first — without it the funds in that wallet are lost, and nobody can recover them, ourselves included.
- To erase what reached our server: the payment orders you made are tied to your wallet address, not to your identity. Ask us to delete them as described in section 3.
2. DOBI Operador and dobi.guru — operator account
The operator app and the web dashboard do have an account, because they control real machines. You can ask us to delete it in full: profile, sessions, linked wallets, and the link between you and your machines and agents.
If you run machines that other people are currently using, say so in your request: we coordinate the shutdown so no equipment is left running without an owner.
3. How to make the request
One channel, for all three surfaces:
Include:
- which app or surface (DOBI Pay, DOBI Operador or dobi.guru);
- the wallet address or the email you sign in with;
- whether you want the whole account deleted or only certain data.
How we check it is yours. If the request concerns a wallet, write to us from that address or sign a message with it that we will give you. That is the only way to verify it: a wallet address is public, and deleting data because somebody typed an address into an email would mean deleting one person's data at a stranger's request. If the account was created with an email, we reply to that email.
4. What is deleted and what is kept
Deleted
- Operator account: public profile, handle, display name, bio, website, location, logo and banner.
- Active sessions and linked wallets.
- Payment orders and x402 sessions tied to your address, beyond the legal minimum below.
- Action and alarm history for your machines, once you deregister them.
Cannot be deleted
- Blockchain transactions. Base, BOT Chain and Solana are public and permanent: address, amount and timestamp stay there forever, beyond anyone's reach.
- Records the law requires us to keep — accounting records of settled payments, for the applicable period. They are kept isolated and used for nothing else.
Deleted automatically
- Hourly device telemetry is pruned after 90 days, without anyone having to ask.
- Human sessions expire after 7 days.
5. How long it takes
We acknowledge your request as soon as we read it and resolve it within 30 days. If it requires coordinating the shutdown of machines in operation, we say so in our reply with a specific date.
En español — Eliminar tus datos
Escríbenos a dobi@apumail.com con el asunto «Solicitud de eliminación de datos». Respondemos dentro de 30 días.
- DOBI Pay no tiene cuenta. No pide registro, no tiene pantalla de inicio de sesión y no guarda tu nombre, tu correo ni tu teléfono. La billetera se genera en el teléfono y su frase de recuperación nunca sale de él. Desinstalar la app borra la billetera y sus claves — respalda tu frase de recuperación antes. Para eliminar las órdenes de pago asociadas a tu dirección de billetera, pídenoslo.
- DOBI Operador y dobi.guru sí tienen cuenta — perfil, sesiones, billeteras vinculadas y el vínculo con tus máquinas y agentes. La eliminamos completa si lo pides.
- Prueba de propiedad: si es una billetera, escríbenos desde esa dirección o fírmanos un mensaje con ella; si la cuenta es por correo, respondemos a ese correo. Una dirección de billetera es pública, así que nombrarla en un correo no prueba nada.
- Lo que no se puede eliminar: las transacciones on-chain (Base, BOT Chain y Solana son públicas y permanentes) y los registros contables que la ley obliga a conservar.
- Se elimina solo: la telemetría horaria de dispositivos a los 90 días; las sesiones humanas a los 7 días.
